Baby Jacob

Here I am at 11-months-old. I am really enjoying chewing on these keys! I am standing up with assistance now and crawling all over the place. Mommy and Daddy are anxiously waiting to be allowed to come pick me up. I get cuter everyday!

Mommy and Daddy

My mommy and daddy met officially when they were Juniors in high school. They started dating on May 25, 1995 and that was it. They were engaged on Christmas Eve. They graduated high school on May 25, 1996 and June 1, 1996 so they have been out of high school almost 10 years, oh my they are old! They were married on July 10, 1999. They have happily added to our family with my furry brothers and sisters. Mommy and daddy have had trouble having a baby on their own so God led them to me, he had a plan all along but it took a while for everything to move into place. My siblings are in heaven watching over all of us along with my great-great grandparents and other special people in our lives. Mommy and Daddy have waited a long time for me to make my grand entrance and we cannot wait to meet each other officially. Mommy and Daddy have a lot of love to give little old me and al little people that they meet. They have big hearts and care a lot for our family and friends and many of the people that they meet every day. They are so thankful to have found me, many people say that I am the lucky one because they are adopting me but truly they are the lucky ones because they found me.

Grandma Kelly and Grandpa Dan

This is a picutre of my mommy's mom and her new husband papa Dan. They live in a motel, well they run it. They have met all kinds of neat and interesting people and quite a few strange ones. They are very anxious to have me home so that they can take me fishing! They are very happy that I am going to be coming home so much sooner then we thought. I cannot wait to meet them and play all kinds of games with them. Grandpa Dan already has so many plans for me and Grandma Kelly already has ideas for fun things to do with me, now to just convince mommy to let me go see them, maybe when I am 20 I can go by myself to visit!

Great-Grandpa Vic & Great-Grandma Kaye

This is my great-grandma Kaye and great-grandpa Vic. They have gone to heaven already but mommy and grandpa will tell me all about them. They were a great inspiration to mommy because they were a doctor and a nurse and mommy became a nurse. They were very special people and had a lot of love to share. They had 5 wonderful boys, one of whom is my grandpa Gary. They taught us all to love who we are and to stand up for what we belive in. They also taught us to be proud of our heritage, mommy will teach me about being Japanese/German/Swiss/French/Irish because of this and also about being Chinese because that is where I was born. We will also celebrate Daddy's heritage English/Irish/French. I have a lot to be proud of.

Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Daack

This is a picture of my great-grandma and great-grandpa Daack (well it will be once mommy finds the pictures). They live in Kentuckey. They are so excited about my arrival. Great-Grandma has made me a quilt, as all babies in our family must have a quilt and I am no exception. They will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary in June and I will be there to greet them with lots of hugs and kisses. They have been a great inspiration to mommy and daddy. Grandma wanted to be a nurse but never got a chance to get a formal education in it, but after having and raising 14 children and caring for elderly parents we think that she qualifies. Grandpa only went to school until he was in the 6th grade but he took care of his family by working in a factory many long and hard hours and ensured that they had food on the table and warm beds to sleep in at night. They raised their children to be good Christians and pray for us all daily. Grandma continues to take care of Grandpa and they are living out their golden years in their own home even though Grandpa is sick with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I cannot wait to meet them and when I am older mommy will tell me all about them and her memories of them when she was a little girl.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Singleton

This is a picture of Grandma Margo's parents. They live in Kimberly, Idaho right next door to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Collins. THey are very anxious to meet me. Grandma S has a temper of an Irish woman but she also has a big heart. She is a great sewer and enjoys making quilts. Mommy will have her help complete my quilt, if she ever gets it started! Grandpa S is a handy man. Always busy and always fixing something. Daddy takes after him, a lot. Grandma reassured mommy that it is genetic for them to say they will be gone 15 minutes and come home 2 hours later, often greasy and sweaty because they had to help somebody fix something. I cannot wait to visit them and play in their nice big garden. Hopefully they have no more blue paint because I may try to play daddy and paint the barbacue grill and tonka trucks!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Collins

This is a picture of my great-grandparents who are Grandpa Larry's parents. They live right next door to Grandma and Grandpa Singleton. Grandma Collins has beautfiul flowers that she grows every spring and summer and lots of fun stuff to get into. They stay very busy working for my Great-Uncle Kent in the real estate business. They love photographs and pretty soon my little face will grace the walls of their home right next to Daddy's! They are all very excited to meet me. They used to own a fertilizer plant that my great-great grandpa started a long time ago but they have given that up and now concentrate on taking pictures and gardening. They will make sure that I am well fed when I go to visit!
